CLearing up

Been very busy and extremely tired lately, lotsa of work to do: school work, tuition and problems from the army. Anyway, I finally finished my liabilities to the army. Everything is going pretty smoothly as planned, and I am really glad about it.

Many things happened, lots of commitment to tuition and school work. I had plans to change my bike but as for now I think I gonna delay that plan. Had a talk with Dad yesterday, and I released all the grievances that I had held long enough. Although he knows about them now but I don’t think there is gonna be anything from his side. Sometimes I just felt that he doesn’t really care about us.

After much hesitation I finally clear up the fibre tank outside the corridor. All the mixed guppies are cleared and replaced by some really nice deep blue Moscow. Hoped they will live well there and produce generations of Moscow for my outcrossing projects. I am planning to create a new strain of guppies, not very sure of the success rate but it will be really satisfying if I’m able to achieve that.

Having clean up the exterior of the house and making more space means getting some new orchids, bought some today from a new farm and they are really cheap. Got myself a big pot or reds and a small pot of thai twist, they are really good looking orchids which originated from Thailand and the petals twist like a screw driver. What I need next will be a decent shoe rack from ikea and the corridor will look really good.

Gonna be playing football with my buddies tomorrow and I am feeling really anxious about it, its just like the good old days where we gathered after school at Dong Neng place, kicking the ball around till its almost time for dinner. That was also where I had gotten myself a fractured arm. Tomorrow we gonna have lots of people, really looking for a good game and a real workout to sweat it all out.

Well by the way those pictures at the bottom are what I am sending in for the smusaic competition. Will be taking more and sending in more, hoped to win something, its always nice to get something.

Till then,
Good night

New Year REsolution

Its another year again, a fresh new year, a fresh new beginning.. Looking back at the series of events in 2004, do freaked me out. I was sick, hospitalized, family problems, financial difficulties, schools, people, almost everything that I got in touch with just seem to fail. Finally its all over, I am going to be more optimistic this year, work harder, fiercer and live better.

Over the last 2 weeks, I had my wisdom tooth remove, 2 of them, and I will be going for another 2 more this Tuesday after school. My remaining liabilities to the army have finally come to an end, with the allowance set aside for school fees. Everything should be right on track if nothing goes wrong this time. Plans to work after I gotten back my pink IC are also made, thus expenses for the year will be taken care of.

Most of my time was spend with my family in the past few days, and it had really made me reflect very much on myself.

Helping my mom at work
Mom was always the one that was beside me when I down, when I am broke. Although her words are hard to accept and unreasonable at times, but without her I wouldn’t have made it this far. She always challenges me when I am down, “everyone have to go through the same thing, its not just you and you are not alone.” Sometimes they are really hard on the ears, but perhaps it was due to her deficiency in convey the appropriate meaning.

Mom works as a cleaner with granny to keep the family going. Although her working hours are short but it can be frustrating at times. Since young my sister and I will go and help out on Saturdays and during our school holidays; I nearly forgotten those days until recently when I was there to help her after I got my stitches remove for the wisdom tooth surgery. Washing the cups and digging the sink with my hands reminded me how hard mom has to work each and everyday. Perhaps I was too emotional, I felt a burning sensation on my face and my eyes brimmed with tears. How I wished I could give her a better life, like other moms, who are able to sit at home in the comfort, being well taken care of by the husband. I just hoped to lead a better life and provide her with all that she had missed out in the early stages of her life. Mom, I Love you.

Yanglun, the Ops Clerk
Yanglun is the very fit and good looking sort of guy that is able to chat up with almost anyone. He is charismatic character that I met in the army. The last time I met him was 2 days ago, during a gathering of the camp people. Sadly we went to his work place rather than he joining us. I don’t really know why is he in such a need for money but he certainly lost a lot of weight, working day and night.

He somewhat remind me of how hard life can be, how I had pull through those days in Poly… somehow I felt that I am going to slog like a dog again soon.. just hoping that I would crop up my school.

Its almost 4am now think I better get to bed.. playing soccer tomorrow.
